My name is Marc Eschenlohr, an easy going and fun loving Professional Safari Guide with 14 years experience.

Born in 1975 in The Gambia, West Africa, I grew to love nature and the outdoors at an early age.  I'm bilingual English / French and have a good level in Spanish. I graduated from the University of Aberdeen with a BSc in Tropical Environmental Science and qualified as a Fgasa Level 3 guide in South Africa.

I have travelled throughout Sub-Saharan Africa visiting over 18 countries as well as venturing further East to India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and Japan. I have an absolute passion for guiding, travelling and love to explore and discover new wildlife hotspots.

My dream is to inspire people about the beauty of Africa and contribute to the protection of our natural world.

I live and work at Singita in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, bordering the Kruger National Park.
